Former U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Stephen Biegun Visits GVI

At noon on Aug 21, 2023, Stephen Biegun, former U.S. Deputy Secretary of State, Jonathan Powell, CEO of Inter Mediate (London), an international crisis mediation organization, and its senior researcher Ameya Kilara visited GVI, and met with Cui Tiankai, former Chinese Ambassador to the U.S., Zhang Baijia, former Deputy Director of the Central Research Office of the History of the Communist Party of China, Ren Libo, President of GVI, Zhang Tuosheng, Director of Academic Committee, Ouyang Wei, Deputy Director of Academic Committee, and Zhu Junwei, Director of Center for American Studies of GVI. They exchanged their views fully and frankly on China-US relations and the Peninsula issue.
