This report seeks to take stock of and analyze some of the notable innovative cases of inclusive finance in rural areas in a few selected countries, namely China, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Brazil, Mali, and Kenya. We hope to be able to offer useful insights into how developing countries can rely on the power of fintech to realize inclusive financial inclusion in the rural areas and help reduce poverty in the rural areas in the digital age.
