[Introduction]


 As one of the BRICS countries, Brazil is an emerging country with great development potential. It has well-furnished infrastructure facilities, stable political and financial situation, high levels of technology research and development, adequate labor supply, and preferential policies for domestic free trade zones. Brazil applies national treatment to all foreign-owned or joint ventures in Brazil, and foreign investment in Brazil does not to be additional approvement by the government. This report analyzes Brazilian solar industry from perspectives of a) macroeconomics of Brazil, b) conditions and market of entering the Brazilian photovoltaic industry, c) market entry barriers, d) the market competition pattern and e) financial analysis of investing.
