German Left Party Youth Delegation Visits Grandview Institution

On May 25, 2026, the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation accompanied a youth delegation from Germany's Left Party on a visit to Grandview Institution(GVI). The delegation held discussions with Ren Libo, President of GVI, and Mao Jing, Director of the European Studies Center, exchanging views on a range of topics, including Germany's and Europe's self-positioning in today's multipolar world, the Left Party's core domestic and foreign policy platforms, and the developments and obstacles in Sino-German and Sino-European relations in recent years.

The youth delegation comprised Sarah Bremer, Left Party candidate for the Berlin House of Representatives in 2026; Katharina Grudin, Chairwoman of the Left Party parliamentary group in the Aachen City Council; Eric Stehr, Deputy Chairman of the Left Party in Saxony-Anhalt; Jannik Starcke, member of the Left Party Youth Council in Saxony; as well as students from the Free University of Berlin, Leipzig University, the University of Hamburg, the University of Jena, Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg, and the University of Potsdam.
