On April 9, 2026, Grandview Institution invited Andrii Serhiienko, Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of Ukraine in China, and Oleksandr Chalyi, former First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, to meet face to face with Chinese enterprises and provide an overview of the priority areas for Ukraine’s reconstruction, as well as Ukraine’s efforts to attract foreign investment and advance cooperation with the European Union, Asia, and other markets.

The meeting aimed to help remove information barriers for Chinese enterprises seeking to invest in Ukraine, establish an efficient platform for direct communication between enterprises and government representatives, and respond in a practical manner to companies’ pressing concerns regarding market access, compliant operations, and localized cooperation.

At the same time, it also introduced Chinese enterprises to the Ukrainian side, laying a foundation of practical mutual trust for future China-Ukraine cooperation in post-war reconstruction.

Chinese enterprises from sectors including power and new energy equipment, industrial engineering procurement and construction, electronic information and supply chains, cross-border trade and investment, and agricultural equipment participated in the meeting.
