New Pakistani Defence Attaché to China Visits GVI

On 31 December 2025, Brigadier Ali Asghar Khan, the newly appointed Defence Attaché of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to China, paid a visit to the Grandview Institution(GVI). He held discussions with Ren Libo, President of GVI; Zhou Rong, Director of the Center for Global South Studies at GVI; and Miao Zhongquan, Senior Research Fellow at GVI, on China–Pakistan traditional friendship and ways to strengthen pragmatic cooperation across multiple fields.

Brigadier Ali Asghar Khan officially assumed his post in November 2025, succeeding Brigadier Ghulam Mustafa, who previously served in the position.
