On the afternoon of March 20, Stephen Biegun, former U.S. Deputy Secretary of State, and Jonathan Powell, President and Founder of Inter Mediate, a UK-based crisis mediation organization, had an in-depth dialogue at GVI with Cui Tiankai, former Chinese Ambassador to the U.S., and Lt. Gen. Chen Xiaogong, former Deputy Commander of the Chinese Air Force, on the U.S.-China relationship and other topics. Mr. Li Xinyu, Vice Chairman and Director of the Center for Global Sustainability, chaired the meeting.
