On the afternoon of November 14, 2023, a tripartite dialogue on the latest dynamics of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and the prospects for peace talks, the EU-Ukrainian relations, and the impact of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict on the Ukrainian issue was held between a delegation of the Finnish Crisis Management Initiative (CMI) – Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation, diplomats from the Embassy of Ukraine in China, and the host experts of GVI.
Participants addressed the impact of the Russo-Ukrainian conflict from the perspectives of security, territory, political mutual trust, and post-war reconstruction, and called for all parties to resolve the crisis with an innovative mindset.
Participants include Janne Taalas, CEO, Ville Brummer, Chief Program Officer, Oskari Eronen, Head of Asia of CMI; Taras Budzinsky and Valerii Bronskykh, First Secretaries of the Ukrainian Embassy in Beijing; and Shi Yinhong, member of the Academic Committee of GVI and professor at the Renmin University of China, Ouyang Wei, Deputy Director of the Academic Committee of GVI, Zhang Xiaoming, member of the Academic Committee of GVI, and Lv Xiaoyu, assistant professor of Peking University. The dialogue was moderated by Mrs. Mao Jing, Director of GVI’s Public Affairs Department.
