On the afternoon of September 12, Irit Ben-Abba, the Ambassador of Israel to China, and Adi Dror, Political Counselor of the Embassy of Israel in China visited GVI and had a candid and in-depth exchange with Ren Libo, Founder and President of GVI, He An, Secretary General of GVI and Director of its Center for South Asia Studies, Liu Xiaobo, Director of its Center for Maritime Studies, and Zhu Junwei, Director of its Center for America Studies, on the Sino-Israeli relationship, Sino-US relationship and the situation in the Middle East.
Ambassador Irit Ben-Abba made an introduction about Israel's advantages in science and technology, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, new energy vehicles, and trade between Israel and China. She extended an invitation to GVI for a visit to relevant think tanks in Israel.
Mr. Ren Libo, President of GVI, gave the Ambassador a brief update on the recent development of GVI. He said that he was looking forward to strengthening the communication between GVI and scholars and experts from Israeli think tanks.
