On 16th July 2021, Grandview Institution organized the 7th Event of The Big Picture, inviting His Excellency Mr. Nicolas Chapuis, Head of EU Delegation to China, to give a speech on the topic of “The Present and Future of China-Europe Relations”.

This event was moderated by Dr. Ouyang Wei, Deputy Director of the Academic Committee and Director of the Borderland Governance Studies Center, Grandview Institution.

The participating Chinese scholars included Wu Baiyi, Senior Research Fellow, Former Director-General of Institute of European Studies, Academy of Social Sciences, and Kong Tianping, Senior Research Fellow, Institute of European Studies, Academy of Social Sciences. Guests included the Chief Representative of the Beijing Office of the German Albert Foundation, representatives of European Chamber of Commerce in China, representatives of European Embassies in China such as German Embassy, British Embassy, and Swiss Embassy.
