On the afternoon of May 20th,Grandview Institution held a virtual dialogue on China-Germany Relations as part of its Dialogue Series on China-EU Relations. Experts participating in the dialogue had a retreat on the upcoming German election in September, the formation of the new government, the possible domestic and foreign policies the new government may carry out, and the impact on Sino-EU & Sino-Germany relations in the future .
The dialogue was presided over by Xu Wei, Secretary General of Grandview Institution. Speakers include Professor Michael Staack, Vice President of the Institute of International Politics, Helmut Schmidt University, Germany; Dr. Marcel Schepp, Consultant of International Party Dialogue Program, Analysis and Consulting Division, Adenauer Foundation, Germany; Professor Zheng Chunrong, Director, German Research Center of Tongji University; Dr. Yu Zhouming, Research Fellow, German Research Center of Tongji University.
