M.A. in English Literature and B.A. in Military Intelligence from the Chinese People's Liberation Army Institute of International Relations. He had served as a Colonel military attaché in the Chinese Ministry of Defenseand  first secretary of Chinese Embassy in India. He has participated in many high-level visits of Chinese leaders and independently received several visits of senior Chinese government and military officials. He has written dozens of research reports on Chinese national security and overseas strategic interests.
