On the afternoon of October 13, through the coordination of the Grandview Institution (GVI), the U.S. expert delegation participating in the Second China–U.S. Nuclear Failsafe Dialogue, jointly organized by GVI and the Asia-Pacific Leadership Network for Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament (APLN), visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the United Front Work Department. The delegation met with Mr. Sun Xiaobo, Director of the Department of Arms Control, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Tang Zhiwen, Deputy Director of the Department of North American and Oceanian Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Mr. Ma Hui, Vice Minister of the United Front Work Department.
