On July 15, Dr. Christian Forneck, Head of Foreign and Security Policy for the CDU/CSU Parliamentary Group in the German Bundestag, together with Mr. Johann C. Fuhrmann, Chief Representative of the Beijing Office of the Konrad‐Adenauer Foundation, met with Mr. Ren Libo, President of Grandview Institution, and Mao Jing, Director of the European Studies Center, for a working luncheon. The discussions focused on Sino-German relations, the crisis in Ukraine, the conflict in the Middle East, and other key global hotspots.
Dr. Forneck emphasized that, in the current context of complex geopolitical evolution, Germany and China should further strengthen communication and cooperation. He particularly underlined the importance of exploring new modes of economic and trade cooperation and expanding mutual potential in these fields.
