On 12–13 May, Ren Libo, President of Grandview Institution, was invited to attend Amsterdam Dialogue 2025, where he delivered a keynote speech and answered questions at the ‘Major Country Mediation: China's Role’ session.
Ren Libo focused on his understanding of China's independent and peaceful foreign policy, analysed several prerequisites for China's participation in international peace mediation, and introduced China's stance and contributions in the Russia-Ukraine peace mediation process. Officials from the foreign ministries of the Netherlands, Norway, Finland, Sweden, and other countries, representatives from the relevant United Nations and European Union institutions, as well as heads of international crisis mediation organisations from European countries and multiple conflict regions participated in the dialogue.
The Amsterdam Dialogue is organised annually by the Dialogue Advisory Group (DAG) in the Netherlands, focusing on discussions regarding peace mediation efforts in internationally hotspot conflict regions.
