On November 20, the Albert Foundation, accompanied by a German delegation focused on arms control, visited Grandview Institution to exchange views with experts on topics such as possible outcomes of the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the potential contributions of China and Germany to ending the war. Both sides expressed concerns over the escalation of the conflict and the increased risk of its spillover. They also agreed that the election of Donald Trump added further uncertainty to the situation. The German delegation emphasized the importance of achieving a secure, sustainable peace between Russia and Ukraine, but noted the complexity of the issue. The key questions of who could act as a mediator and who could serve as a guarantor remain unclear.
