The attending experts said that China and Germany, as the world's second and third largest economies, should shoulder more responsibilities in energy saving and emission cutting, development of renewable energy and green transformation, and set a benchmark for global sustainable development. Good Sino-German economic and trade ties have long played a crucial role in helping the business community cope with uncertainties and unleash its potential. Openness, mutual trust, and sharing are the keys to building a resilient economic and trade relationship between the two countries. Johann Fuhrmann, Chief Representative of KAS’s Beijing Office, and Ren Libo, President of GVI, delivered speeches for the event.
