GVI Delegates Meet with Members of the National Diet of Japan

February 20 to 22, Ren Libo, GVI’s President, and He An, GVI’s Secretary-General, paid a visit to Japanese Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) legislator Gaku Hashimoto(桥本岳), Komeito (KM) legislator Shinichi Isa(伊佐进一), former KM leader Akihiro Ota （太田昭宏）, Constitutional Democratic Party (CDP) leader Kenta Izumi（泉健太）, CDP legislators Shinji Oguma（小熊慎司）and Futori Hideshi（太栄志）respectively, to conduct sincere exchanges on Sino-Japanese relations, the Taiwan issue, the North Korean nuclear issue, and the security of Northeast Asia. The National Diet members were of the view that China and Japan should find ways to overcome the current obstacles in Sino-Japanese relations and promote the Sino-Japanese "strategic and mutually beneficial relationship".
