Dr. Gerhard Wahlers, Deputy of KAS, Visits GVI

On August 10th, Dr. Gerhard Wahlers, Deputy Secretary General and Head of the Department of European and International Cooperation of the German Konrad Adenauer Foundation (Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, KAS) visited Grandview Institution (GVI) and exchanged ideas with Ren Libo, President of GVI, Li Xinyu, Vice Chairman of GVI, and Xiong Wei, Professor of China Foreign Affairs University, on the development of Sino-German bilateral relations and how to carry out deeper inter-institutional cooperation in the future.

Dr. Wahlers spoke highly of the Sino-German Youth Salon co-organized by GVI and KAS and anticipated that the two parties could extend this program to some other cities in various forms and on different topics.

Johann Fuhrmann, Chief Representative of KAS Beijing, Cai Tingjian, its Program Manager, and Mao Jing, Director of Public Affairs of GVI, were also present.
