On November 1, 2022, Jae-ho Chung, Korean Ambassador to China, Nam Jin, Minister Counselor of the Korean Embassy in China, Lee Jung-won, Secretary of the Korean Embassy in China, and Yeon Dong-hyun, Second Secretary of the Korean Embassy in China, visited Grandview Institution(GVI). Ren Libo, President of GVI, Zhang Tuosheng, Director of GVI Academic Committee and Director of Center for Northeast Asia Studies, Ouyang Wei, Deputy Director of GVI Academic Committee and Director of Center for Chinese Borderland Studies, and Li Nan from Chinese Academy of Social Sicences, conducted in-depth exchanges on China-South Korea relations and the problem of Korean Peninsula.
Both the delegates from China and South Korea agreed that the current situation on the Korean Peninsula is facing extremely severe challenges. The countries involved needed to conduct more dialogues to avoid the recurrence of the peninsula crisis, and make efforts to maintain peace and stability in the region.
