GVI’s Delegates Accompany Former U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Stephen Biegun to CPAFFC

On the evening of March 22, Stephen Biegun, former U.S. Deputy Secretary of State, and Jonathan Powell, President and Founder of Inter Mediate, a UK-based crisis mediation organization, accompanied by GVI’s delegates, visited the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC). There they met with Shen Xin, Secretary General of the CPAFFC, to discuss the current opportunities and challenges in China-U.S. relations, and how to improve the relationship between the two sides through civil exchange. 

Also present were Ameya Kilara, Senior Program Director of Inter Mediate, Julien Chatel, Program Development Officer of Inter Mediate, and Zhu Junwei, Director of the Center for American Studies at GVI.
